The Sacrament of Holy Communion--instituted by Jesus at the Last Supper--is at the core of our celebration each Mass.  Jesus truly becomes the Body and Blood we receive.   At the Last Supper, sharing His Body and Blood with the disciples, Jesus said, "Do this in memory of me"--and so we do.

First Communion preparation usually takes place in the second grade beginning in the fall with preparation for First Reconciliation and continuing into the spring to receive Holy Communion for the first time.  The Sacrament of First Holy Communion Mass traditionally takes place on the third Sunday of Easter.  For more information contact the director of faith formation, Sarah Moylan at This email address is being protected from spambots.
