Rise Up

We are never too young to strive for holiness.  This one-day conference for middle school youth challenges them to “rise up” to live their faith radically, confident that they are known and loved by God the Father.

Young people will be strengthened in their relationship with Christ through keynote speakers, praise & worship, Adoration, Reconciliation, and lots of fun activities!!

Rise Up takes place each year in March and is required for our first year Confirmation students.  Our 6th and 7th graders are encouraged to attend as well.

Summer Stretch

Summer Stretch is our summer youth service program.  It runs for six Wednesdays each summer.  We begin the day with 8:00 a.m. Mass, followed by a breakfast meeting.  We then head out to do a service project like Feed My Starving Children or Sharing and Caring Hands.  After volunteering we have lunch and do something fun like kayaking or mini-golf.

Registration begins in March!!

Extreme Faith Camp

Extreme Faith Camp takes place at Trout Lake Camp in Pine River, MN in June each summer and is for students completing sixth, seventh or eighth grade with ninth graders invited to participate in the prayer team and older teens who've completed a year of prayer team asked to come back and lead as the Extreme Team.

Registration begins after January 1st and St Johns can help you fundraise for this event by participating in Buying Stock in Youth this March on Saturday and Sunday, March 20th & 21st.
